James was awesome! Had him do a back deck for the house and it turned out great. Friendly guy, knew his stuff and was able to accommodate use with our specific needs. We wanted some extra stuff done and he was able to do it as well with a decent price.

Prior to Thanksgiving 2024, I contacted Jim to get an estimate on replacing aging deck boards, as well as providing the entire deck with a new stain. He came out promptly, provided a fair, detailed quote on the work to be done, and answered all of my questions before the project began. Once the work was underway, Jim pointed out an optional benefit of installing a couple of additional posts near the house to further ensure the deck would remain safe and secure for years to come. He incorporated that installation into the project and completed all of the work in a reasonable amount of time. Once the project was completed, Jim thoroughly cleaned up the work area. If you are looking to extend the life of your existing deck, I recommend you give Jim a call.

With plans to eventually put our home on the market, my wife and I needed to find someone to power wash the house, repaint our columns and steps, and paint our front and rear porches. The Deck Hand was able to provide all of these services, and more. The paintwork looks fantastic, and the house gleams like it did when it was first built. Jimmy was also able to thoroughly clean our white porch furniture, and it looks superb on the newly painted front porch. Jimmy did all this work for a fair price and in a timely fashion. I was called immediately by the owner and an appointment was set. the contractor sent a man the day he said he would I paid the price agreed upon without any surprises or changes. they were quick efficient and easy to deal with which can be said of very few contractors. My deck is over 20 years old. The Deck Hand did a spectacular job with power washing, refinishing and staining! It now looks brand new ! The Deck Hand, Jim Cook and his team Are very conscientious. Jim Cooke was very professional, very prompt and very thorough. He did a beautiful job of power washing and restaining our deck. He went above and beyond because our deck is a story above the ground level, so It required him to carry his equipment up a ladder.
