With plans to eventually put our home on the market, my wife and I needed to find someone to power wash the house, repaint our columns and steps, and paint our front and rear porches. We recently had our deck power washed and painted by The Deck Hand. Jim and his crew were very pleasant to deal with and responsive to our needs. The deck looks great and we are happy with the results.

Needed a repair to our deck (cracked joist). Jim was able to perform the repair at a reasonable price.

Prior to Thanksgiving 2024, I contacted Jim to get an estimate on replacing aging deck boards, as well as providing the entire deck with a new stain. He came out promptly, provided a fair, detailed quote on the work to be done, and answered all of my questions before the project began. Once the work was underway, Jim pointed out an optional benefit of installing a couple of additional posts near the house to further ensure the deck would remain safe and secure for years to come. He incorporated that installation into the project and completed all of the work in a reasonable amount of time. Once the project was completed, Jim thoroughly cleaned up the work area. If you are looking to extend the life of your existing deck, I recommend you give Jim a call.
